Dear friends and Mom’s-to-be,
"What do you mean, you don’t have Babyshower Parties in Germany?!" This sentence and disbelieving pair of eyes met me in London during an amusing afternoon with girls in honour of our pregnant friend Nikki some years ago. They could not believe that we do not know this wonderful tradition in Germany. And so I couldn’t myself the longer I was thinking about it.
But actually...why not? In Germany we usually come together for a girly evening all the time and we like to celebrate almost each possible occasion. (For example Sophia Loren’s 75th birthday just to name one of them). But we are not celebrating the most beautiful occasion, the upcoming birth of the baby of a good friend? This must be changed...
After my return to Germany in 2008 I established the company Ladies & Babies in order to offer a professional Babyshower Party service to German women. All you need for a perfect Babyshower gets imported by us for the European market from the countries of origin of Babyshowers, the USA and the UK. What is not available in the USA or in the UK we get from another country or we simply produce it ourselves. In cooperation with our international network of partners and trend scouts, we do not miss any new Babyshower idea or product innovation. Permanently we endeavour to widen our product range to offer new amazing decorations, gifts or game accessories.
Whoever wants to organise a Babyshower to a friend, is right with Ladies & Babies; Whether it will be organized by yourself or via our Baby shower Party Planner Services (we organise it for you), hymns of praise from your friends and the Mom-to-be will be yours for sure. And an unforgettable day among girls anyway!

Terms of delivery and shipping costs
Your order will be dispatched as soon as we received full payment from you and will be with you only a couple of days later. Within Germany delivery will take about 2-3 days only, for delivery to the rest of Europe please allow approximately 1 week after payment intake if not stated any different in the product description and order confirmation. In urgent cases, for example if there are only a couple of days left to your party, please contact us and we are happy to check all options of a possible express delivery to you.
All standard delivery to Germany is € 4,95. For the rest of Europe such as Austria, Netherlands, France, Spain, Italy etc delivery is € 9,95. Please note that there are special delivery charges to Switzerland with € 26,90.

General terms and conditions
General
For all concluded transactions with Ladies & Babies, the following general terms and conditions are valid at the time of the order. The conditions are accepted in the particular form with the assignation of the first order. If the general terms of conditions deviate partially or in whole from them, they will not get part of them, even if this is not expressly contradicted.

Conclusion of contract
A sales contract is only concluded with the written order confirmation via email by Ladies & Babies. A legal claim of your part regarding the availability of the goods is excluded. Then the rights and obligations of the contractual partner are determined after this general terms and conditions.
Terms of payment
The buyer gets an order confirmation via email by Ladies & Babies. The prices of the time of the order are valid. Payment must be made in advance. All prices are retail prices in Euro (according to small business regulation, there is no VAT tax) plus a delivery fee of 4, 95 € per delivery in Germany or 9, 95 € in the case of delivery within the EU. Please ask Ladies & Babies for delivery costs in the case of delivery to other countries.
Delivery
Unless otherwise agreed, delivery will be made to the delivery address given by the buyer. It is up to Ladies & Babies, to carry out a partial delivery, if this is advantageous for an efficient settlement.
As soon as the delivery will leave the company of Ladies & Babies, the risk passes to the buyer. This is also valid in the case of partial deliveries. The delivery of the ordered goods will be made within the mentioned period, after receipt of payment. The delivery period will be respected if the goods will be posted to transport up to the deadline.
Offer
Our offers are binding. Information and pictures of the products are only for information. We reserve us differences as well as technical changes due to manual work. Slight colour differences of the goods, which are represented on our internet pages are possible due to different screen settings and light exposures and are not a defect. By updating the shop pages, all previous prices and other information are getting invalid. Significant is the version of the time of the order. Ladies & Babies reserves the right to cancel the contract in the case of non-availability. It can be possible, that a product will not be longer deliverable due to limited editions. Ladies & Babies is obliged to inform immediately the buyer via email about the non-availably of the product and to compensate an already received return-service.
Guarantee and responsibility
Generally the ordered goods are carefully checked before leaving our house, so our articles are free from defects in materials and manufacturing errors. Anyway, if there are obvious defects and damages of transport, please inform in written form Ladies & Babies within 7 working days after receipt of goods. In the case of defects, the buyer has the right to demand rectification or to cancel the contract. The damaged or wrong goods must be returned to Ladies & Babies. In the case of failure of remedy, the buyer has the right to cancel the contract. Regarding the guarantee the legal regulations are valid.
Power of revocation
It is possible to revoke your contract declaration without giving any reasons in written form (e.g. by letter or by mail) or by returning the goods within two weeks. The period of time begins with reception of the goods and not before reception of this instruction. In order to respect the revocation period it is sufficient to send the revocation or the goods on the due date. Please send the revocation or the returning of the goods to:

Consequences of the revocation:
In the case of an effective revocation the mutually received services must be given back and also a possible use (e. g. a usage fee for the usage of a thing).If it is not possible to give back the already received services or only to give them back partially, compensation must be provided. This is not valid in the case of the surrender of goods, if the worsening of the thing can be reduced exclusively to the control - if it is possible in a shop. In addition you can avoid the obligation to pay compensation, if you do not consider the thing as your property and if you neglect everything in order to affect their value. If it is possible to return the goods in a packet, you are obliged to do this. You have to pay the costs for the return, if the delivered goods do not correspond to the ordered goods and if the price of the goods, which should be returned, is not higher than 40 &euto;. Otherwise the return is free for you. Obligations in order to compensate the payment must be full field within 30 days after sending your declaration of revocation.
Exclusion of the revocation
The right of revocation does not exist in the case of distant selling contracts for the delivery of goods, which are produced individually or which are not suitable for a return or which are addled rapidly or if the date of expiry will be exceeded.
Security & data protection
According § 28 of the Federal data Protection law (BDSG) we inform you, that the data will be treated and saved in the frame of the transaction purposes by a EDV equipment according § 33 (BDSG). Ladies & Babies is obliged only to use the demanded, treated and saved data for internal reasons and not to give them to a third party, if there is no legal or official obligation.
Applicable law and jurisdiction:
The German law is exclusively valid. A foreign law is expressly excluded. Jurisdiction and place of performance for all obligations is Hamburg. Final ordinance: If some parts of these regulations are invalid, the rest remains unaffected. The invalid part of this regulation is replaced by a regulation which comes closest to the economic purpose of this regulation. If there appear an ineffective clause on which the parties did not have seen during the conclusion of the contract, for whatever reason, this one has to be close in the sense of this agreement.
